It all started with Seth Haines' A Deeper Story post on story swapping. I left a comment with a story of my own, only to receive the writing compliment of my life. Seth encouraged me on Twitter to dabble in ultra-shorts. I'd never considered writing short stories before, much less sharing them here. HopefulLeigh is my haven from the characters talking in my head as my novel knits together. But when Lurlene started talking to me as I fell asleep the other night, I began to wonder whether there's room for both.

What say you? Would you be interested in reading the occasional, fiction or nonfiction, ultra-short here?
