Friday mornings are for biscuit sandwiches at Devil's Teeth, catching up with old friends and new, and walking the beach and collecting sand dollars. It may be weird to count Sunday as a workday but I sure don't mind having Fridays off. Especially when it involves watching surfers.

My friend Fiona recently moved to London and everything she's written about that transition reminds me of my own transition here to San Francisco. This piece at She Loves Magazine particularly resonated.
"But until someone is willing to make space for me in their life, I continue to feel like an outsider.
